The new comp system started yesterday( Wednesday) in the afternoon.

The facts as i know them now:
Players will receive a $5 meal voucher for every 8 hours of play. The voucher is printed automatically at 8 hours at the front board. You will have 48 hours to use it, then it expires.
You cannot "stack" vouchers.
Vouchers are good ONLY in the poker room.
You cannot give the vouchers away OR sell them, you must present your players club card with the voucher to the server. (Your name is on the voucher)
Vouchers cannot be used for alcohol.


From your initial swipe in , you will need to re-swipe again within 4 hours from the last swipe and hit the "continuous play" button that appears in order to continue accumulating hours.  If you don't, you will be automatically logged out of the system and you loose those previous 4 hours.

Players are 100 % responsible for swiping in and out at appropriate times. there is NO ONE in the casino that can override the system and "fix" missed hours because you forgot to swipe for "continuous play".

Just swipe the machine when you take a short break within the 4 hours.

You WILL get credit for tournament play

Yeah, I think they really make the room feel that much better.  I was at a table directly facing them and half watching them and it took me an hour to realize it was my first time seeing them working.  Just felt natural to have them there.

supposed to start on the 9th.  I hope this is for real and CAZ enters  the 21st century.  There are VERY few rooms left without some kind of loyalty program, even the racetrack card rooms reward their players.  Hope they dont overpromise and underdeliver again!!  I am rooting for them bu,t don't see how it can work under the present system.

Btw, Tvs are finally in and, are nice.  they make the room look much better.  The wheel seems to be a very nice promo, everyone seems to like it.

(note to any management lurking)  Turn down the microphone on the discjockey running the board late swing.  Nice voice but WAYY too loud.

I keep hearing a rumor that the player card comp system is going to be up and running soon.
Anyone have any other info?

Well as of today they have 6 new BIG plasma TV they have been working on for a few weeks on the back wall up and running.
They look good , glad they they got them dome before Superbowl, a lot of people were going to be upset if they didnt get those in.

Looks like they have three more going up on the left wall when you are facing to room as well.  Hopefully they will consider putting a couple at the front of the room as well.

Thanks! I believe we had 83 players to start. 

I've only lived in AZ for 4 months, but having lived in NJ (and playing in Atlantic City quite a bit), I am always surprised (but pleased) that we get that many players in the monthly ladies tournaments!

January 2011 Ladies tournament - We chopped ten ways with a few extra bucks going to the chip leader.  Had a blast - from my perspective it was a well-run tournament.  Can't wait until February's tournament!

I would happily play a PLO tourney.  They have an Omaha 8/b tourney, but that is regularly spread as a cash game, where PLO was only spread for a very short time at the 5/150 level (less than a week if I remember correctly).
